6:00AM: the best hour of the day, or too close to your 3:00AM bedtime?
I love mornings*! 6:00 am on a weekend can truly be the best time of the day. That amazing smell of trees and the singing of birds is quite refreshing. Also, from a student’s point of view, learning and studying is much easier in early morning, rather than at night or afternoon. But, the only glitch in this wonderful fantasy is that one must wake up before thinking about enjoying the beauty of early morning, and at which I’m completely lousy.
* I love mornings only on weekends and holidays; not on working days. 😀
Grab the nearest book. Open it and go to the tenth word. Do a Google Image Search of the word. Write about what the image brings to mind
It was a fine big mansion in which a family of four lived happily, but it was very long ago! Years and years ago she would laugh and play with her brother, had fun with her family. Those were the times when she had someone around her, for her. But then, the lightning struck! she was no more with her parents, her brother. Though she came back, but now they were scared of her. When she would throw a ball to her brother, he would just run away, scared, rather than playing with her. On one cold night, they left the house. she tried to follow them out, but was unsuccessful.
Now, fifty years later, the big mansion over the way is still rumoured to be haunted by a ghost of a little girl, and there she is, alone in this merciless world!
Safe inside, toasty warm, while water pitter-patters on the roof… describe your perfect, rainy afternoon.
Photographers, artists, poets: show us RAIN.
Actually, I shouldn’t be writing this post because it’s burning hot in Karachi, Pakistan. But the most I can do to satisfy myself is to Imagine, and imagine strongly about the rain! That gentle pitter-patter of rain on the rain outside and cold winds after the rain through the front gates!
So, the perfect rainy afternoon, starts with the sweet smell of soil and a scream from any one of us three siblings.. It’s raining! and it begins! 😀
First of all it’s a cold shower in the rain, then hot bath! Then it’s some snacks in the cold evening and lots of laughter! Finally the perfect ending to this rain filled afternoon is a good novel in hands, while enjoying the scenery from the balcony as everything around seems washed off by the nature! 😀
P.S: I seriously do wish it rains soon here!! 😦
You’re having a nightmare, and have to choose between three doors. Pick one, and tell us about what you find on the other side.
Nightmares are a part of human psychology which no one can deny of experiencing in their lives..
As a young kid I often had a dream about a dark alleyway, ringing with silence and the sound of nothing but my own heavy breathing!! My breathing was not heavy because I had seen something out of ordinary rather it was heavy because I could not see anyone at all! The only thing to give me creeps was the silence of the place & darkness of that place which to this day can give me goosebumps sometimes.. When suddenly I would see at the end of the alley two magnificent doors made of oak wood! ESCAPE in bold letters written over them! On the right of the alley stood another small door hanging off its hinges is present, giving me the creeps! Well human beings are always attracted towards what’s bad for them so I went in one of the magnificent doors only to find the two doors opening into the same path at the end of the alley leading to a red bricked wall and giant dustbins! And out came from those dustbins nothing but the worst fear of every small kid.. Monsters! Giant, big toothed, hanging skinned Monsters!
Well!I would run away from those pursuing monsters and ESCAPing from those rooms into the small creepy door which would wake me up!! and I would realize that ESCAPE was written inside out on those doors and many a times not what we see is the truth!
