After an amazing shopping trip at a new shopping mall, With my hands full of merchandise, I almost ran to the elevator before the door closes, as I knew the mall was 142 storeys and I will take me a long time to get another go at the elevator. As I entered the glass pane capsule elevator, I saw a tall person in a trench coat and an old fedora hat. He was looking out the glass elevator so I could see only half of his face, his features were rough and it made me think he might be a spy who is investigating a murder case around here, but my mind rejected the wonderful fantasy of meeting a world-famous spy with the immediate thought that there haven’t been any murder cases around here recently. Well, then I thought he might be an undercover, mastermind bandit planning to take over this mall. Oh my God! What if he tried to  take me ransom to perform his loot. Oh no! What if he is holding a gun in his right hand which he has suspiciously kept in his pocket all the time. With these scary thoughts the elevator suddenly stopped! ? What? I thought.. We’re at ground floor already?? But no, the elevator had stopped at 13 floor, and with my superstitious mind, Nothing could be worse than 13 floor. The doors opened and a man entered and he embraced the intriguing stranger warm heartedly and said, “Hey Jerry! What are you doing here.?” Long time old man!

And finally that person spoke “I am a lift man here, just got this job two days ago”

At least the glass is not full empty! :D

Daily Prompt: The Glass

Is the glass half-full, or half-empty?

The fight over this Half full/empty glass goes a long way.. According to me, the glass is; as you see it is, according to the environment and your future predictions about yourself. If you can see the glass half full, that probably means that you can see good times ahead.. If you see the glass half empty that probably means that you’re actually doomed to misery. But the fact is that the glass is technically always full.. If half part contains liquid, The other half contains air and frankly you can Always fill the other half if you’re unsure about the Half full/empty part! 😀
