6:00AM: the best hour of the day, or too close to your 3:00AM bedtime?
I love mornings*! 6:00 am on a weekend can truly be the best time of the day. That amazing smell of trees and the singing of birds is quite refreshing. Also, from a student’s point of view, learning and studying is much easier in early morning, rather than at night or afternoon. But, the only glitch in this wonderful fantasy is that one must wake up before thinking about enjoying the beauty of early morning, and at which I’m completely lousy.
* I love mornings only on weekends and holidays; not on working days. đ
Tell us about a time you couldn’t quite get your words or images to express what you wanted to express. What do you think the barrier was?
Well.. This post is not about me but a lady I met once at a Chicken meat shop. that lady was trying to ask for chicken wings from the shopkeeper. Well, the shopkeeper wouldn’t obviously was suppose to understand chicken wings in English language as my native language is Urdu. So she put her heavy bags down and tried to demonstrate wings by half-flapping her arms like a bird and said “Wings hain wings?” “do you have wings?”. Apparently she didn’t realize what was she doing and I shouldn’t have laughed at her either but those demonstrations were too funny not to be shared! đ
What makes a teacher great?
Sense of responsibility Is the only thing that makes a person, Teacher; and that too a  great one! If a person have some sense of responsibility but not the ability to teach, the least he can do in the interest of students is either resign or at least try to teach in a better manner.
Tell us about something you think is terribly unfair â and explain how you would rectify it.
A student’s rant is about to be started. Caution: weak hearted people beware!
Grab the nearest book. Open it and go to the tenth word. Do a Google Image Search of the word. Write about what the image brings to mind
It was a fine big mansion in which a family of four lived happily, but it was very long ago! Years and years ago she would laugh and play with her brother, had fun with her family. Those were the times when she had someone around her, for her. But then, the lightning struck! she was no more with her parents, her brother. Though she came back, but now they were scared of her. When she would throw a ball to her brother, he would just run away, scared, rather than playing with her. On one cold night, they left the house. she tried to follow them out, but was unsuccessful.
Now, fifty years later, the big mansion over the way is still rumoured to be haunted by a ghost of a little girl, and there she is, alone in this merciless world!
What was your favorite plaything as a child? Do you see any connection between your life now, and your favorite childhood toy?
As a child, my favourite plaything was a small, bright yellow rocking chair. I always used to sit on that chair, and whenever my sister dared to sit on it, after my right little tantrum, she used to give me that chair! =)
The connection between my life now and my 2 year old self sitting on that chair is very prominent. I loved to sit idly then and I love to do so now! =D The only difference is that I didn’t have any disadvantage of sitting uselessly then, now however…
Also, I really liked to tease my sister then and take that chair from her, and I still do it sometimes, with the slight difference of those things being purple clothes, one ring or another or some other jewellery and she too is kind enough to always lend me some!! Love you my dear sis!! =D
The internet is full of rants. Help tip the balance: today, simply be thankful for something (or someone).
Photographers, artists, poets: show us THANKS.
I’m thankful to Almighty Allah for what I have or what I don’t have. Because what I have is for my own good and what I don’t have is for my betterment.
Sometimes, things may seem a little dark for a while but everything gets better in the end! Until a few days ago, I was filled up with a lot of negative energy believing that not every bad-doer is not punished in this world (Of course believing that they will be punished in the world hereafter) but now, not without reason, I firmly believe that they’ll reap what they sowed, in this world  and in the world hereafter too!
Whatâs the one luxury you canât live without?
Photographers, artists, poets: show us LUXURY.
As a student, I must confess that good teachers these days are very hard to come by, so they can be called a Luxury. hence, a good teacher is one luxury I can’t live without but yet I have to survive without!
P.S: Physics is a terrible subject!
